California State University Northridge
I received a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Physics from California State University Northridge (CSUN).
I completed courses in Physics and Mathematics including Astronomy, Newtonian Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Quantum Mechanics, Acoustics, Physics of Music, Modern Algebra, Mathematical Physics and Computer Programming for Physics (using Fortran).
I attended CSUN from 1981 to 1983 (after transferring from Santa Monica College) and got my degree when I finished in December of 1983 but attended the graduation ceremony in 1984.
UCLA Extension
I completed coursework in Computer Programming and Web Development at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles.
Completed classes in Graphics Programming (Modeling, Rendering, Animation, OpenGL, Renderman, Java 3D), Programming (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Pascal) and Web Development (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript).
I attended UCLA Extension (UCLAx) from 1995 to 2000.
Santa Monica College
I received an Associate of Arts degree (AA) in Physics from Santa Monica College (SMC) in Santa Monica, California, US (Los Angeles area).
Completed introductory Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry courses covering Newtonian Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Modern Physics, Chemistry, Calculus, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations and Linear Algebra.
Studied introductory computer programming in Fortran and COBOL.
Completed many required undergraduate general education courses.
Took courses in Piano, Music Theory and Percussion.
Competed as a runner for 2 years in Cross Country and Track and Field and received letters in both.
I attended SMC from 1978-1981 and received my degree in 1981 after which I transferred immediately to California State University Northridge where I got a Bachelor of Science in Physics in 1983.
Airco Computer Learning Center
I received a Certificate in Computer Programming from Airco Computer Learning Center in Anaheim, California.
Completed programming courses in RPG, Assembly Language and COBOL on IBM systems.
I attended Computer Learning Center in 1986.
